Twin-shaft concrete mixers are ideal for the ready-mix and precast concrete industries where large volumes of high quality concrete are demanded. The powerful twin-shaft mixer, with counter rotating shafts, delivers fast mixing action and rapid discharge and handles mix designs with coarse aggregates up to 6 inches in diameter. The rugged JS500 concrete mixer has low operating costs and is available in 6 model sizes.
Innovative features of this German engineered mixer are wear-resistant Ni-Hard arms and shovels, replaceable Armor Plate wear liners and an oversized discharge gate for fast discharge and shorter cycle time. The discharge gate is hydraulically actuated, with all critical components mounted externally to avoid exposure to the concrete mix.
The JS500 concrete mixer is available in 6 sizes from 2 yd3 up to 6.0 yd3 true output of fresh compacted concrete. Other features include an automatic lubrication system ensuring long life and less wear of working components.
The JS500 concrete mixer mixer can also be equipped with an optional "weigher frame" section which is integrated into the mixer top cover and shipped as a single unit. This includes a cement weigh hopper, aggregate holding hopper or weighing hopper, and galvanized water weigher. This arrangement makes it perfect for retrofitting an existing batch plant or for upgrading a dry batch ready-mix set-up into a central - mix plant.
